Big Image wins Entrepreneurs of the Year in the municipality of Täby 2025
Big Image has been awarded Årets Företagare i Täby 2025 (Entrepreneurs of the Year) by Företagarna. The award is given annually to entrepreneurs who show strong leadership, long-term commitment, and contribute to a sustainable and thriving business climate in their local area.
The jury’s motivation reads:
"Big Image Systems AB is a family business, founded in 1987 by Werner Schäfer and today led by his daughter Johanna Schäfer. The company has grown into a global leader in large-scale visual solutions and demonstrates impressive entrepreneurship by constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in image production.
Through sustainable production, strong customer focus, and engaging leadership, Big Image Systems has not only created growth and job opportunities but also inspired an entire industry to think bigger—literally. With their drive, business acumen, and ability to unite art with technology, they are a role model for businesses in Täby and far beyond."
